The company must be serious and established, in addition to having quality facilities for the service you require. It must also have everything it offers on its website or advertising.
It all depends on the agreement between your insurance provider and the funeral home you choose. Or, you can choose the funeral home by making immediate payments and then arrange for reimbursement. First of all, it is necessary to request this information from your insurance company and keep in mind which funeral homes they have an agreement with.
● Plain copy of the death certificate (issued by a legally licensed physician).
● Original death certificate for collation and a plain copy, both of them indicating the final destination of the deceased as either burial or cremation.
● Permission of transfer (if the service is not performed within Merida).
● Oficial ID of hirer (plain copy).
If you already have a doctor who has a professional license, the best thing to do is to ask him/her to issue the medical certificate of death. If the death is an accident, in that case, the medical examiner should be the one to do the paperwork. You can contact the funeral home, you will receive guidance on how to process the death certificate.
The first thing to do is to notify the authorities so that they can advise you on the corresponding procedures. The support and advice are provided by the Mexican Consulate General of the country where the deceased relative is located, or by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Mexico. It will be necessary to hire the services of a funeral home in the country where the death occurred. If you already have a Prepaid Plan, you must notify the funeral home, providing the information of the foreign funeral home you contracted, in order to coordinate the transfer of your family member.

Yes, thanatologically it is advisable since it is the way to approach the process of life. It is not usually common since there are no specific spaces for them. However, in Amaité we have a special playroom with babysitter.
The best way is to attend the ceremony or wake, you can also send a floral arrangement. If you cannot attend the funeral service you can send a card with your condolences.
A service can last from 4 to 24 hours. All according to the needs and/or customs of the family.
Cremation or incineration is usually less expensive, since the process is different, in addition to the fact that nowadays it is not common to find space in cemeteries, due to the increase in population and urban growth.
They cannot. Only one person can be cremated at a time. That is why schedules are assigned for each service.
